Thirty years, $30, thirty people who want to keep Taylor's legacy alive.
On October 13th, as they have done for the past 11 years, Taylor’s family will venture out to the cemetery where he is buried next to his sister, Kendall, and his dad, Ken, and send him messages on balloons while lighting fireworks and wishing him a Happy Birthday in Heaven. Taylor loved fireworks!
They would much rather be celebrating Taylor’s 30th with a cake, balloons, and presents for him, with him, but instead they ask that in memory of Taylor, those who knew him, loved him, or even strangers who are touched by his fight, would please make a gift of $30 – one for each candle he SHOULD be blowing out - towards Fanconi Anemia research. Can we get 30 people to celebrate Taylor's 30th birthday with us?
Taylor’s sister Allison and close family friends Emily and Ryan will run Mile 17 of the NYC 2017 Marathon on November 5th to honor Taylor because it passes directly by Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC. It's the very place Taylor received his bone marrow transplant. It failed, so MSK is also the place Taylor last prayed for Jesus, said goodbye to his family and friends, and breathed his very last breath.
Donate $30 for Taylor's 30th. Each dollar raised will be dedicated to Fanconi anemia research in an attempt to prevent tragedies like Taylor's. Each $30 donor (or multiples of) will be listed on Taylor's KATArun dedication. Can we get at least THIRTY birthday wishes for Taylor?
